It’s that wonderful time of year with Moore Park Tennis Club opening for the 2022 season. All of us, new and returning members, can head out onto the courts and start playing. This year is shaping up to be more like the regular (pre-covid) seasons that we know and love complete with all the social and competitive events such as round robins, ladders, teams, BBQs and much more. This is what we’ve all been waiting for!!
Mark your calendars: - Club Opening*: Saturday, April 2nd @ 11:30 am Come out a little earlier to help us put up the nets! Clubhouse remains closed until April 23rd when it will be staffed – BYOB (bring your own balls) - Season Opening Meet & Greet BBQ*: Saturday, April 30th from 12-3 pm Come dressed to play, meet our Head Pro Matt Baccarani, MPTC members and enjoy some BBQ.

COURT RESERVE BOOKING Moore Park tennis starts on Court Reserve from your court reservations, to signing up for events or finding a partner to keeping up-to-date with important club announcements.
Just a reminder about reservations, adult members can book 4 hours a week, within 72 hours of the booking start time, in a rolling window.
For help using Court Reserve, refer to the website FAQs.
Pro-tip: Court Reserve works best on a web browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge) vs using the mobile app.

HOUSE LEAGUE & ROUND ROBINS
We are excited to be able to offer more social play this year with House League and weekly Round Robins.
All the details around times and level of play as well as sign-up for House League and Round Robins can be found on the website on the Play page.
Don’t miss our first drop-in Round Robin - Friday April 29th from 7pm-9 pm. Besides great tennis and people, there will be pizza available before tennis at 6:30 pm.

LADDERS
This season means a lot more opportunities for competitive play for all of you. We are pleased to be offering singles and doubles ladders this season.

ADULT CLINICS
There are lots of clinics planned each month for different levels and types of play. Spots are filling up for May, but there are still a few left - to see what is available, go to Court Reserve > Events > List and filter by Adult Clinics.
Even if the desired clinic is full, add your name to the waitlist
• Waitlist people will be used as replacements in case there is a cancellation before the clinics start
• Anyone on the waitlist who was not able to get ANY clinics in May will be given advanced preference for the next round
• Payment is required before any registration is approved. Send payment via EMT to mooreparkpro@gmail.com.

EVENTS
There are many ways you can find out about what’s scheduled at the club.
On Court Reserve, go to Events > List to view all the adult clinics, club social activity like BBQs junior program and camps and team/tournaments. Use the Category options on the left menu to filter the event type that you are interested in.
You can also look at the calendar by selecting the CALENDAR button on Court Reserve’s main page.
Pro tip – bookmark the CALENDAR link for quick access.

NEWS You can keep in the know by checking the Announcements section on Court Reserve. It showcases important news and events. A red flag will appear above the Announcements tab whenever there‘s a new announcement.
