Price

Adult Member

Returning Members and adults invited from the waitlist can become Adult Members during  registration.

On or before January 12: $145

On or after January 13: $210

Holding Member

Returning Members and people invited from the waitlist can become Holding Members, during registration, deferring membership for one season.

On or before January 12, $50

On or after January 13: $115

Junior Member

Returning Junior Members, and Returning Daytime Junior Members, aged 10 to 17 years can become Junior Members, during registration.

On or before January 12, $80

On or after January 13: $100

Daytime Junior Member

Any child who wants to play only in the day or who wants to take programs at MPTC. 

Available to returning juniors during fall-spring registration,

 

Available to children new to the club starting March 21.

On or before January 12, $35

On or after January 13: $40

Non-member Guardian

Available in Court Reserve starting March 21.

If you are not a member and do not wish to become one, but would like to buy your child or children a Daytime Junior Membership, please create a Non-member Guardian plan for yourself, starting March 21.  

 

The Guardian account will allow you to purchase Daytime Junior Memberships and sign your child(ren) up for programs.

Join the Waitlist Plan 

Available in Court Reserve starting March 21.

Adults who do not already have a membership or plan in MPTC’s Court Reserve system can join the Club Waitlist with this plan, once the fall-spring registration period is over. 

Parents with a Join the Waitlist Plan can purchase Daytime Junior Memberships and sign your child(ren) up for programs.

Adult Membership

MPTC has been full for the last few years, but you can sign up on our waitlist (get a "Join the Waitlist" plan) to be invited to get an Adult Membership when we have room. 

Adult Membership

 

The Adult Member is for adult members who want to play anytime during Club hours.

Features

  • Can book up to 4 hours in the booking system (rolling limit)

  • Can reserve courts up to 72 hours (3 days) in advance

  • Can book guests for singles and doubles

  • Can participate in club events and socials

  • Can sign up for private or group lessons and clinics with our club pros.

Holding Membership

 

The holding membership holds a member’s spot in the club for a year, but confers no playing privileges.  

Features

  • Holds your spot in the club.  You can rejoin the club after your year off, without going on the club waitlist.

  • Holding Members are not allowed to book courts or sign up for events

Refund Policy

The Club refunds membership fees. less a $20 processing fee per request, for all requests received on or before March 31 of the membership year.  

Plans

Non-member Guardian

The Non-member Guardian Plan is for a guardian or parent of children who wish to become junior members in order to play at the club or participate in MPTC’s Junior Program camps or clinics.  

The Plan allows the guardian to manage court bookings and membership renewals for their children.

The Plan ensures the Club has an adult contact on file for children in programs.  

The Non-member Guardian does not have privileges to book courts or attend any club events on his or her own right. 

Registration for junior camps, clinics and lessons should be done by contacting the Head Pro.  The children will need to be approved for Junior Program memberships before they can be enrolled.

Non-member Guardians who wish to join the Club, please email our Membership Director ask her to put you on the Waitlist.  

Features

  • For adults who are not club members but who have or will have junior member kids who play at the club or are signed up for junior instruction during the season. 

  • Cannot personally book courts or participate in any club events.  (Need a paid membership for this.)

  • Can book courts for children linked to this family.

  • Can handle membership renewal for all family members.

  • Contact the Head Pro to register for junior clinics, camps and lessons 

Join the Waitlist​

If you are not a MPTC Member and are not in our system as a Non-member Guardian, pick this free plan, once the fall-spring registration period is over, to get on the Club Waitlist.

Adults who sign up for this plan can also sign-up members of their immediate family, including their spouse or partner. 

Children cannot be placed on the waitlist and do not need to go on the waitlist as they are eligible for a Daytime Junior Membership in season.

The Club opens up spaces to people on the waitlist in mid-January, taking people in the order until the club is full.  

Please keep your account and email up to date so we can reach you.  

If you want to take yourself off the Waitlist, and leave space for others, you can do so by cancelling the plan.

Prospective members can sign up for this plan anytime except during fall-spring registration. Once registration period is over, the list will reopen. 

Features

  • Free, no-obligation sign-up.  You can cancel anytime if you are no longer interested. 

  • Setting yourself up with the plan puts you on the MPTC Membership Waitlist.

  • You can add your partner or spouse to this account, and so sign them up on the waitlist too. 

  • This plan is not a club membership, but a step towards getting a club membership. 

  • You will remain on the waitlist until you cancel your plan, become a member, or do not respond to the club asking you, using the email in your plan profile, if you want to become a member.

Junior Memberships

MPTC offers two sorts of junior memberships;

  • one for children between 10 and 17, who want to play anytime during club hours 

  • another for kids, from 4- 17, who want to play in the day only/ or take lessons in MPTC programs 

  • A paid daytime membership, or the full Junior membership, is required of children who wish to take lessons, programs and camps at MPTC.  

Junior Membership

This junior membership is for returning junior members who want to play anytime at MPTC.  (If your junior will be playing only during the day, check out the Daytime Junior Membership.)

The child must be attached as a family member to an Adult Member of MPTC or a Non-member Guardian or a Join the Waitlist plan holder, who acts as the Primary user in the booking system.  The adult can book the child for court time if desired, as well as handle the child's annual membership renewal. 

Note that a Non-member Guardian is not a member and will have no personal booking privileges.

  • Age limit: Between 10- 17 years of age

  • Can sign up for private lessons, or junior programs or camps run by our club pros

Daytime Junior Membership

This junior membership is for kids in junior programs at MPTC or for kids who are happy playing just from 7AM to 5:59 PM Monday to Friday, and from 1 PM to 5:59 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Daytime Membership can be renewed or converted into a full Junior Membership, for children who will be between 10 and 17 years of age in the following season.

 

This membership is available to all children on March 21.   

The child must be attached as a family member to an Adult Member of MPTC, a Non-member Guardian or a Join the Waitlist account holder who acts as the Primary user of in the booking system.  The adult can book the child for court time if desired, as well as handle the child's annual membership renewal. 

Note that a Non-member Guardian is not a member and will have no personal booking privileges.

  • Age limit: Between 4- 17 years of age at the time of registration

  • Can sign up for private lessons, junior programs or camps run by our club pros

  • Playing window: can play from 7AM to 5:59 PM Monday to Friday, and from 1 PM to 5:59 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

  • Can book up to 2 hours in the booking system (rolling limit)

  • Can reserve courts up to 48 hours (2 days) in advance

  • Court time for the child can be booked by the Parent member, Non-Member Guardian, or by the child themselves if authorized by the parent

  • Can book their non-member parent, or another player, to play as a guest (up to 2 guests per week)

  • Registration and fee payment for lessons, clinics, programs or camps to be arranged directly with the Head Pro.

  • Available throughout the season; no need to go on a waitlist. 

$10 of each adult membership goes to the Ontario Tennis Association, which collects dues from all member clubs.

Registratio Timeline

Registration Timeline

November 16:  

Membership renewal at early bird rates opens for members returning from the previous season.  

January 12

Last day for returning members to pay for memberships at early bird rates and to be guaranteed a spot.

January 18

The Club starts inviting people at the top of the waitlist to join the club.  Returning members will still have an opportunity to renew, at full price (without the early bird discount), if there is still room in the membership.

February 14:

Last day for returning members to renew and pay for their memberships, if there is still room.  

March 21

Registration for "Join the Waitlist" accounts, Daytime New Junior Memberships and Non-Member Guardian accounts will re-open.   Daytime New Junior Memberships can be purchased for all children new to the club or returning children who missed the renewal cut-off.

April 3:

Last day to request a refund or change in membership status. (Note: there is no charge for changing between membership types, but a processing fee of $20 will be applied to membership cancellations.)
