Sign up and Snacks at the club from 11:30-12pm Round Robin runs from 12-2pm and BBQ Lunch at 2-3pm General information and Changes on Court Reserve New: Open Bookings. We have implemented Open Bookings which allow adult members to book singles or doubles without having enough players to fill the booking. This allows other adult members that meet the requested rating criteria in the booking to add themselves. This should foster more games of our members and allow more people to meet. Note that:
Open bookings are only available on Courts 1-4.
Open bookings will cancel within 36 hrs of the start if too few people join. The option is not available on bookings made within 36 hrs of the start New: Members can no longer update Booking Reservation type. Due to a technical issue in Court Reserve that occurs when members try to change Singles to Singles with Guest or Doubles to Doubles with Guest, we have removed their ability to update reservation type. Members must delete their booking and create a new one if they want to change the reservation type of a booking. This restriction will be removed when Court Reserve fixes the issue. New: Refunds For Guest Fees and Practices now go to the member’s account instead of back on their credit card. This will result in faster turnaround time for receiving the refund and save processing time/fees from Court Reserve, the payment engine and the credit card company. New: Guest Fee Rates. Guest fees have increased to $12 when you book online; and $15 when you drop in and pay by EMT. Valid Tennis Rating As many of our events are ratings based, all members are required to add a valid tennis rating to their profile to qualify to join many of our club activities. You won't see an Event unless you have a rating in your profile. Having a rating will allow you to participate in MPTC social events such as tennis ladders, house league and round robins, try out for competitive teams, play in club tournaments, or find partners of comparable skill levels to play with. Simply add a valid tennis rating to your Court Reserve account's personal information section. For help in adding or determining your tennis rating in Court Reserve. Review the FAQ titled "How do I add a tennis rating to my profile” in Court Reserve. Get Rated by Head Pro Matt. Cost is $25 per assessment and takes 15-20 minutes to complete. Email Matt directly to schedule at mooreparkpro@gmail.com Note: all members in our system who did not have a tennis rating on their profile were assigned the default rating of 1.0 – Beginner. You can update your rating in the Personal Info tab of your Court Reserve account. Find Tennis Partners Looking for a partner to play with? Enter the following fields in your profile's personal information to get on a directory with others looking for partners! Note: To reduce workload, we are only updating the Find a Partner list once at the beginning of the season. This will be done at the end of April so if anyone wants to be on this list, they should fill out the fields by then. Mandatory 4 fields to be put on the list: -Tennis Rating? See above -Available for a tennis game? Yes -When are you available for a tennis game? -Type of match? Members can find the Find a Partner list under Club Info in Court Reserve Opportunities to Play For info on opportunities to play at Moore Park, Teams, House League, Tournaments, Ladders and Social Events, check out https://www.mooretennis.com/play.
