Your volunteer board is preparing for the Club's yearly members' meeting. Please consider volunteering for the board so that we will have a full slate for the 2027 season.
If you have time and energy to devote to your Club, please reach out.
The Board would be particularly pleased to welcome:
A Director with skills and interests in IT to help our staff continue to make the most of CourtReserve.
A Director with an interest in non-profit governance/ policy, possibly someone with a legal background or an interest in non-profit governance, as a source of reflection and recommendations on Club rules, procedures, and policies.Directors are also required to attend the 5-7 Board meetings a year and contribute to Board discussions. Orientation and training is provided.

Social Events
September 7 marks the return of the Monday Morning (10 AM to noon) drop-in round robin!
With summer camps over, the Monday round robin starts again beginning on September 7 on courts 3 and 4. This is member-directed as there is no staff on Monday mornings.
Format: Play games for 30 minutes and then change up. Winners on court 3 stay and winners on court 4 move to court 3 - partners split. Runner ups go to court 4, partners split. Play the last deciding point if tied.
If more than 8 people show up, extras should be cycled in after all four players on a court have served once.
The balls can be found in the plastic box placed on Court 5.

A few spots are available again, as not all the original participants can make next week.
Date: Wednesday, September 9, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Playoffs: 9:00 PM – 9:30 PM)
Entry Fee: $10 per person (includes tournament organization, pizza, and ice cream)
Get ready for an evening of friendly competition, team spirit, and continuous action as we host our Davis Cup Round Robin! Hopefully there will be no storm next week!
We'll bring together 40 players, representing 10 iconic tennis nations, for 3 hours of social tennis to determine which country will take home the trophy.
It's all about team spirit, cheering on your squad, and enjoying a great night of tennis under the lights.
End of Season BBQ & Round Robin
Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026 (Rain Date: Sunday, September 20, 2026)
BBQ: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Round Robin: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Format: Drop-in play; but please register to reserve your food.
Join us as we wrap up another great tennis season with a club BBQ followed by a fun afternoon of Round Robin play. Whether you're coming for the food, the tennis, or both, it's a great opportunity to celebrate the season with fellow members.

The latter is a fun mixed-doubles event: each pair's combined age must total 100 years or more. Adult members only.

Court Booking Tips
Guest Fees - editing courts with guests
Please edit your guest bookings rather than cancel them in order to avoid any admin fees.
If you add a guest or guests to your booking when editing, the fee(s) will show up on your CourtReserve account. Please try to pay these fees before you play.
To pay your balance, go to: Billing → Transactions in CourtReserve.
Outstanding balances are reviewed monthly, and members with unpaid balances will receive a reminder.
As outlined in the Membership Rules, all outstanding balances must be paid by the end of the season in order to remain eligible for membership renewal the following season.
Cancel Courts You Won't Be Using
If you're not planning to play because of threatening weather or uncertain court conditions, please cancel your booking as early as possible. This helps monitors focus their efforts on preparing the courts that members are most likely to use.
Edit Your Booking Instead of Cancelling
If you're changing your court, date, or time, use the Edit function rather than cancelling and creating a new booking.
As noted above, this is especially important for paid Singles or Doubles bookings with guests. Cancelling and rebooking will result in a refund less a $2 non-refundable administration fee for the original booking and the need to pay again for the new booking.
If you're simply replacing one member with another, use the Substitute feature.
