Please cancel unwanted courts!
We ask that you cancel any unwanted court reservations at least 1 hour before your start time. While last-minute cancellations are technically possible, earlier notice allows other members to use the court.
Our no-show policy will be enforced as follows:
First infraction: warning email
Second infraction: 7-day suspension of playing privileges
Subsequent infractions: repeated suspension/ escalating action
Thank you for helping us keep courts available and accessible to all members.
How the Work at MPTC Gets Done
MPTC Staff: Clubhouse Manager, Monitors and Club Manager.
Please take a moment to meet the Club Staff and show them some appreciation. Our Clubhouse Manager, Christina Charles, and our Monitors, Justin Wong, Kate Mantzoris and Kate Miller, work hard to keep the courts clean, dry and playable, and to make sure everything runs as it should. Our Club Manager, Shannon MacPherson, has been a wonderful addition and has assumed a number of admin responsibilities. (The Volunteer Board thanks her!)
Volunteers needed!
If you are interested in getting involved at MPTC - for particular tasks or projects or activities (help at social events on and off the bbq is particularly welcome) - or in being on the board, please let Fiona Miller, the President, or another board member know.
The Club is particularly interested in welcoming members with an interest and experience in non-profit governance and anyone with IT skills to inquire about board work.
