MPTC Monitors
Please get to know the Club’s Monitors.

They work to make sure the courts are clean, dried, and playable, that everyone follows the rules, and that the clubhouse is clean and welcoming.
Let them know if you need their help, and please let them know you appreciate them when they do help.
Drop-in Round Robins – alternate Wednesdays, starting June 29.
Round robins are moving to Wednesdays now that summer is in full swing.
The first drop-in round robin (pizza at 6:30, social tennis rounds from 7-9 PM) is on Wednesday, June 29.
Sign-Up Round Robins – alternate Wednesdays, 7-8:30 PM, starting July 6
There are fewer people signing up for the round robins now summer is here, so, starting in July there will be just 1 session from 7- 8:30 PM on Wednesdays.
Signup starts the Saturdays before at 8 am and runs to Monday at 11:59 PM. Waitlist will be in play.
Next Weekend Social: Saturday July 9, food from 11:30 AM to 1 PM, tennis from 1-3 PM
Come celebrate Wimbledon!
Fascinators are encouraged (but optional).
On tap: strawberries and cream, bbq, social tennis.
Drop-In Tennis – 2- 4 PM Tuesdays in July – Trial
The Club will reserve court 2 from 2-4 PM on Tuesdays in July.
If you are up for some hot weather social tennis, aim for this slot.
Bring your balls, encourage your tennis friends to attend, and play with whoever shows up!
For other Club Activities, please check the Activities Calendar
August adult clinics
Starting with the August clinics, payment for adult clinics will be by credit card only, on Court Reserve. We hope this will streamline the process.
Remember: payment must be made within 15 minutes of registration, or your registration will be cancelled (just like the guest fees).
August clinic sign-up begins July 5, at 7 AM.
People to Play with
Members looking for people to play with can consult the Find a Partner link.
The link is under the Club Info header in Court Reserve (login using a web browser).
Or look in the Court Reserve Announcements (if you are on the app)
If you know who you are looking for, consult the Member Directory in Court Reserve for their contact information.
Balls
The Club traditionally supplies 2 balls per booking when the Club is staffed, but we find we are going through too many balls this year.
If you appreciate the free balls, please pick up your balls from the Monitor, and then return them to the Monitor, or leave them in the ball holder, after use so that we can give out fewer balls and justify keeping this tradition going next year.
Bring your own balls if you play between 10 AM and 5:30 PM on weekdays (when we are not staffed).
Clubhouse, the return of the Pink Lemonade, and the new park bottle station
The Clubhouse is open this year, come in and check it out!
We have just brought back MPTC’s signature pink lemonade.
Please ask the Monitors to serve you up a cold glass if you need a pick-me-up after your match.

If you are happy with water, please note that there is a new bottle station in the park between the clubhouse and the splash pad. The water is cold!
We hope you are having a happy, tennis-filled summer!
