July 19 Round Robin - Commemorative Tree Fund

Updated: Jul 11

Play and remember

For those of you who knew Todd Brian, or had the pleasure of playing tennis with him, Moore Park Tennis is holding a very special Round Robin on Wednesday, July 19, to remember this wonderful friend who left us far too soon.

The format of the RR will remain as usual - all are welcome, Todd wanted everyone to have fun! - but we encourage those who knew Todd to please join us and share your stories to celebrate his life.

Help us Plant a Tree for Todd

While we can never forget his wicked sense of humour, his caring nature and winning ways on and off the court, let's remember him in an even greater way - with a City of Toronto Commemorative tree planted close to the courts in Moorevale Park. The cost of the tree and plaque is $750 and those of you who wish make a contribution you can send an etransfer to Marla Wolfe (youngwolfe@rogers.com). Once we've reached the total for the tree, we will let you know all the details around the next steps with the City for planting.

- Todd's Friends at Moore Park Tennis Club.

The Round Robin is at its usual time: Pizza will be served at 6:30 p.m., and play will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. We hope you can join us!
