Toronto Inter-Club Competition
Moore Park fields the following teams, which compete at various levels in
4 Toronto leagues.
Team selection is based on tryout results, previous years' results and team commitment.
Please note that a club member cannot be on more than one team in one season.
The Moore Park Ladies
Evening Team
plays in the Evening Division of the Toronto Ladies Tennis League www.tltl.org
from May to July. All matches are ladies doubles. The team practices on Sundays from 11:30am to 1:00pm; matches begin at 6:30pm on Monday evenings. Tryouts are held indoors in March/April.

The
Moore Park Men's Team plays in the B1 Division of the Toronto Men's Tennis League

from May to July. All matches are men's doubles. The team practices on Sundays from 10am to 11:30am; matches begin at 6:30pm on
Tuesday evenings.
Men's Team tryouts will be on Sunday, April 4th and 11th from 10:00 to 11:30 weather permitting with April 18th as the backup date.

Two Moore Park Mixed Teams
play in the Community League from May to June. Matches include mens & ladies doubles, mixed doubles
and singles. Matches are on Wednesday evenings. Team practices are
held on Saturday afternoons. Mixed Team tryouts will held April 25th and May
2nd at 1:00 PM. For more information, or to try out,

The Moore Park Ladies Daytime Team
competes in the C2 daytime division of the Toronto Ladies Tennis League www.tltl.org
from May to June. All matches are ladies doubles. Matches begin at 10:00AM on Wednesday mornings.
Team practices are mandatory and are held on Tuesday mornings at 9:00AM. Team tryouts will held on Tuesday, April 20th, 2010 (rain date - April 21st.). For more information, or to try out,

Our club offers several fun opportunities to meet and play against other members of the club, in friendly competition:
The Singles
Tennis Ladder is a form of
competition that all levels of tennis can participate in and enjoy.
Not only is the ladder a means of testing your mettle, it's a great
way to meet other players and get familiar with different styles

The
Doubles House League gives
doubles players their chance to excel. In May/June the Doubles House League will play every other Firday.

Teams are formed monthly in
July, August and September with games taking place on Tuesday
evenings. The competition is fierce but friendly and
participation is strong. A small fee for every competitor buys
sought-after prizes awarded at the end-of-year festivities.

The
Annual Club Tournament not
only offers all levels a chance to play and possibly shine, it's
an opportunity to watch some tennis too, as the Club's top players
battle it out! And make no mistake, the contests are hard fought,
the winners' trophies eagerly sought. This year's tournament will be held the weekends of September 11, 18 and 25th, 2010. Sign up sheets will
